I am blessed to have been able to work with this family a few times now over the last year. I first met Caleb and Katrina for their wedding and now I get to watch their little boy grow! They are so sweet and fun--I always look forward to getting together with them!
Pregnant women are beautiful! Despite all the unpleasant parts of pregnancy--they always have a glow (and NO its not just from North Carolina's hot and humid weather!) This beautiful lady is expecting her first--a girl in mid October! Doesn't she look great?? We met a nice gentleman on our session who was trying to teach us a new "trick"--unfortunately it didn't work! But Liz was more than patient with him (and me) as we tried! I hope I get to see your little girl come October!
Brittany and I met back in June to take her bridal portraits for her September wedding! Since the day is finally here I can share this! Isn't she stunning?? We met at the beautiful Bellefont Plantation in Washington, NC. Here are just a few from the day!!
Sandy and I tried and tried to meet for days to get her maternity pictures. It was a busy time for me traveling wise and the days I was available it rained! I guess that is typical eastern North Carolina weather but I feared she was going to deliver before we got to take her pictures! Thankfully, it cleared up and we ended up having beautiful weather one evening! And as a bonus, her husband was able to come too!! Their new baby girl should be here mid September! Can't wait to meet her! Meet Jaxon! This little guy was 11 days new when he came to see me. He fought sleep almost the entire time--although we did manage to catch a few pictures that look like he is sleeping when he was just teasing us! His daddy is a Marine and is currently deployed. I know he cannot wait until he comes home and gets to be with his wife and meet his adorable son! What a sacrifice he is making for our country! And how about his momma--isn't she gorgeous?! She is also a Marine serving our country! Anyone who saw her on the streets would never believe she just gave birth 11 days ago and she doesn't even look sleep deprived! Thank you both for your service to our country--your son is beautiful!
Lauren Cottrell Photography will now offer indoor, studio sessions! With a variety of backdrops and props to pick from, these sessions are perfect for newborns, babies, children, cake smashes. The best part?? The studio photos still use natural light--which creates beautiful images! To celebrate this news, all throughout March book a 30 minute indoor session for only $25!! Contact LCP to set up your session today!!
I met Scott and Leanne for an engagement session in Greenville. They actually started dating in high school. They also brought their sweet puppy with them--which was a first for me. Anyone who knows me well knows I LOVE dogs, so this was exciting for me! We started our shoot at a fun little heritage village and ended up on Eastern Carolina University. I love getting a tour--such a beautiful campus! Here are some of my favorites from the session. Thanks for a fun shoot! Congratulations on your engagement--happy wedding planning. I wish you many happy and blessed years together!
Hannah and I have been trying to coordinate this shoot for a long time and I am so glad we were finally able to make it happen!
Meet Hannah, her husband Bobby and their adorable son, Everett. We met at Mike's Farm in Jacksonville. While the weather looked great all day, it actually started to rain half way through our shoot. Luckily, it blew over quickly and we were able to finish our shoot. How cool is it that Hannah brought her car--1967 Mustang for a "prop". I love when my clients bring their own props but this is by far the coolest one I've gotten to work with so far. (It's a challenge for other's Hannah also brought this really cool glass heart she found at antique shop. I love working with fun props! What else can I say besides this family is super adorable-- and I am so glad I finally got to work with them! |
